The Voice Alert Door Entry System has the capacity to record six separate messages, each six seconds in length.
This unit can monitor up to six zones separately. When someone walks through the beam the pre-recorded message is spoken and there is an adjustable speaker volume. This product can be used both indoors and outdoors and can monitor doorways or windows. It uses wireless connectivity between the detectors and receiver which can be up to 300m away in open space and 100m inside. These products are available from most electronic stores and may be useful to pre-record a message advising the person “it is night time, please return to bed”.
Bed Occupancy Sensors are placed on top of the mattress. They are linked to a control unit which communicates with a call centre via the telephone line. The sensor can detect if a person has left their bed during the night and then not returned to it. They can be programmed with a time delay before raising an alert to allow for the person to use the toilet or get a drink. The sensor can also identify if a person has not gone to bed at night or has not got up in the morning. There are start up and ongoing costs associated with this product.
